An evening to celebrate 40th anniversary of Dame Margaret Beckett, first becoming MP for Derby South.
I was tasked to create an invite and accompanying design materials for a Labour Party event to celebrate 40 years of Dame Margaret Becket becoming an MP for Derby South. It needed to be exquisitely designed and finished, I used a premier textured paper stock to elevate the artwork and elegance of the invite.

For my inspiration, I used the iconic Labour rose, the rose also being the symbol of the 40th year and created a layered, texture-rich illustration, to reflect Margaret's contributions and success over the years in public service.
I used a deep ruby-purple to pay homage to the suffragette movement and an accent colour of gold to reflect success and achievement.
