A Multi-Platfrom Brand Identity
“I won't just be a Civic Mayor for London
cutting ribbons, I’ll roll up my sleeves and tackle the real problems facing Londoners”
My challenge was to create a strong, engaging and diverse multi-platform brand identity for Sadiq Khan's London 2016 Mayoral Campaign.
The brand had to represent Sadiq's values and vision for London, a visual narrative that spoke to all Londoners, one that was committed to fairness, equality, diversity and opportunity, adopting the campaign strapline 'For all Londoners'.
From the brand mark to the colour palette, every element was mindfully designed to reflect the diverse melting pot of London and Sadiq's key manifesto policies, from education to safer streets.
My experience working with London Labour was an enriching design journey of turning a vision into a visual reality. With a carefully curated colour palette and visual assets, a brand that truly embodied the vibrant spirit of London was created. The brand resonated deeply with the target audience and established Sadiq Khan to become the first Muslim mayor of any capital city in the EU.

polices, flowing in harmony.
The River Thames was a key visual element, it was used with the logo or as a stand-alone visual asset to flex the design across platforms.
